Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS)

Toulouse has a decent transport system and so using the buses and trams over taking a taxi is highly recommended. You have three feasible options when you land at Blagnac to get into the centre of Toulouse:

    The Airport Shuttle Bus

  • Time: Leaves every half an hour between 5:40am and 00:10am. Takes 20 minutes to get to the conference centre.
  • Link here: https://www.tisseo.fr/en/airport-shuttle
  • Cost (at time of writing): 9 Euros each way
  • Directions: Shuttle leaves from outside main terminal. Tickets can be bought next to the tram stop (ensure you buy the shuttle ticket and not a standard one). The shuttle bus stop is to the right of the tram stop as you exit the terminal.
  • Destination: The shuttle stops at Compans Caffarelli which is the site of the conference centre. It then goes on to stop close to hotels at Jeanne d’Arc and Jean Jaures.
  • Mobility: The buses are adapted for access for people with reduced mobility.

    The Tram Line T2

  • Time: Leaves approximately every 20 minutes between 06:10am and 23:58pm. Takes around 1 hour to get to the conference centre so is slower than the shuttle but cheaper.
  • Cost (at time of writing): 1.80 Euros for 1 trip.
  • Directions: The trams leave from just outside the terminal. Just take a right as you leave the building.
  • Destination: To get to the conference centre, take the T2 tram to the end of the route at Palais deJustice then change onto the subway (metro B) for 5 stops, getting off at Compans-Caffarelli. To get to Jean Jaures (central with respect to most hotels), take the T2 tram, get off at Arenes and change onto the subway (metro A) for 5 stops, getting off at Jean Jaures.

    Taxi

  • Time: Usually available 24 hours. The drive to the conference centre takes 15-20 minutes.
  • Cost: Around 30-35 euros. They are readily available, but it may be cheaper to get an Uber.
  • Directions: Taxis line up on the road outside of the terminal, directly to the right as you leave the building.
  • Destination: If going direction to the conference centre, as them to take you to Compans-Caffarelli.
